Original title: Windows 10 search bar This Question STILL remains UNANSWERD!!; Please tell us how to remove the search bar stuck at the top of the screen on my windows 10 desktop.please note it.
I think the issue you are having is not actually an issue. It by design as I understand it. The way Office 2013 is setup, when you first start to install, it actually streams Office to your computer so you can use all of your applications during the install process.
We have made the switch to 2013 on a few computers for testing.I have found the streaming install to work perfect on some computers and not so well on others. My solutions is to use an offline installer. While Microsoft has made it extremely difficult to find one, I have a link for you.can register and download the trial version. Once you install it, you just use your code or subscription to activate Office.Since I have switched to the offline installer, I have not had a single problem.Hope this helps with your issue. Plus, I don't see the add-ons active in Word or Excel. Is that the one that came with a printer/scanner combo? If so there are better tools out there.Sorry, Office version is 2010, will update title.About the OCR program; I'm sure you're right, but the end-user is not tech savvy at all (to be nice about it). I need to keep everything the same, as much as possible.

I didn't see the Abbyy add-on listed as active, so I'm not sure that is the culprit. The only time I've seen them cause an issue, Office programs would not open at all (crashed immediately because of the add-on). This is a different issue, but it seemed noteworthy to point out the presence of the Abbyy software.
